Farm Tourism

A 2018 study written by Lenzen et al concluded that 8% of world carbon emissions are as a result of Global Tourism. It is easy to be defeatist about the ability of Farm Tourism to mitigate this impact, but significant opportunities exist to build the market for UK ecological farm holidays.

Picture the vision that from 2030 people will be driving in electric cars to their farm holiday destinations where the power and hot water is provided by the sun, delivered, as required, during the visit via battery storage and where the accommodation is heated by the air or the ground.
