Regional Sales Manager

Based in Fownhope Hereford, an area of natural beauty, Caplor has been established for over 100 years.  We are a multi award winning renewable technologies business, dedicated and passionate about the environment making decisions based on our values of being Inspiring, Sustainable, and always looking to Improve.

It is a very exciting time for the renewable energy industry, with the UK committed to reducing carbon emissions to net zero by 2050. We are experiencing major growth in the industry and are looking for an inspiring Regional Sales Manager to join our office-based team in Herefordshire on a full-time basis to work across Commercial and domestic Solar PV & Battery, Renewable Heating, Solar Thermal & EV charging technologies

Key Accountabilities:

  • Business Development. Researching, analysing and developing prospective new clients and partners.
  • Winning new sales of renewable energy systems for existing and new clients.
  • Technical expertise. To build key technical knowledge and stay abreast of latest developments in Solar PV, Renewable Heat and Battery Storage technologies
  • Networking & Presentations. To undertake Caplor presentations, network and join key groups and attend events as and when required.

 

Key Requirements:

Business Development

Investigating and researching the market for renewable energy systems. Specifically, this will involve identifying key target markets, developing new commercial accounts and feeding ideas to Caplor on how we develop effective sales and marketing campaigns.

Establishing key partners including architects, house builders, commercial and agricultural building contractors in order to generate referral leads.

Sales

Following up all sales leads, conducting and coordinating surveys, undertaking quotations and presenting proposals with the aim of closing deals. To track all sales leads and jobs by updating the Caplor CRM system at all stages of the funnel. To be very strong in self-management – getting back to people on time and giving prospects and customers confidence in our service.

To attend weekly and monthly sales catchups to share market information, update on competitor activity and report on sales and business development activities.

Technical Expertise

To develop growing expertise in Renewable Heat, Solar PV, battery storage and other renewable energy technologies. To keep abreast of new developments and feed these into the rest of the Caplor team.

Networking & Presentations

To join key groups and networking events. To develop and delivery Caplor presentations and follow up with key prospects.

Business Administration Apprentice

We are looking for someone to join our growing team. We offer a structured, supportive, and challenging business apprenticeship within an exciting industry. The programme is designed to give the candidate the best opportunity to become a qualified administrator and offers a great start to a career.

Customer Service Adminstrator

It is a very exciting time for the renewable energy industry, with the UK committed to reducing carbon emissions to net zero by 2050. We are experiencing major growth in the industry and are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join our office-based team in Herefordshire on a part-time basis to assist with customer service and administration for the business.

Key Accountabilities:

·         Customer service (answering phone, managing inboxes, responding to queries)

·         Screening and directing phone calls

·         Business and customer administration

·         Report running

·         Record keeping

 Key Requirements:

 Friendly and Polite

You will be the first point of contact for our customers and therefore the face of the business. You will need to represent the business with a positive attitude and professional appearance and excellent vocal and written communication skills.

Organisation

Ability to multitask and complete tasks efficiently and effectively. Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines.

Administration

Management of inboxes and reports for Operations department and any other departments that require assistance.

Customer Service

Answering questions about products or services offered and handling any queries that customers may have. Providing customer support to other departments when required.

 Teamwork

Working with all teams across the business to offer the highest levels of efficiency and customer service.

Compliance

Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficient and compliance to company policies. Discretion is necessary.
